Parents' biggest worry is safety. Here is what hostel facilities, security and student support actually look like at our partner universities.
Hostel structure
Most partner universities have separate hostels for boys and girls, located inside or walking distance from the campus. Rooms are typically twin or triple sharing, fully furnished with bed, study table, wardrobe and central heating.
24/7 Security
Every hostel has a guarded entry, biometric or pass-based access, CCTV in corridors and common areas. Visitors are not allowed inside hostel rooms, especially in girls' hostels.
Indian mess and food
Almost every major university has an Indian mess on campus or a 5-minute walk away. Food is North Indian or South Indian style with vegetarian and Jain options. Mess timings are typically 3 fixed slots.
Health and medical care
Universities have on-campus health centres for routine illnesses. For serious cases, students are taken to affiliated hospitals β usually free or at concession. Mediclaim insurance covering βΉ3β5 lakh is built into the fees in most universities.
Cultural and religious celebrations
Indian students celebrate Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas and Independence Day on campus. Universities support these events and often invite Indian embassy officials. Indian students association exists in every major Russian and Kazakh medical university.
Communication with parents
Free Wi-Fi in hostel rooms and 4G/5G mobile networks make daily video calls easy. Indian students typically use WhatsApp, Telegram and Google Meet for parent calls. Our local representative is available 24/7 for emergency contact.
